Council 1634 of the Knights of Columbus is pleased to announce it is accepting applications for the 2012 Catholic High School Scholarship Award. This scholarship will be awarded to an eighth grade student who has been accepted by and is planning to attend one of the Portland area Catholic High Schools in the 2012-2013 school year.  The applicant must be a member of either St. Alexander in Cornelius, St. Anthony in Forest Grove, St. Matthew in Hillsboro, St. Edward in North Plains, St. Francis in Roy, or Visitation in Verboort.  

The scholarships for 2012 will be awarded in one payment and paid directly to the Catholic High School after the first semester of enrolment and upon verification the student is continuing to attend said high school. 

 Any graduating student from the eighth grade is eligible no matter what school they currently attend.  The scholarship will be awarded based on need, academics and extracurricular activities.

 The application form may be typewritten or handwritten as long as it is legible. Completed applications may be submitted either electronically via email or mailed through the postal service. See application for addresses.
